BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPECIAL MEETING
August 2, 2008
The meeting was called to order by President, Steve Ballentine at 7:43 am.
The following members were present and constituted a quorum: Barry Bynum, Mary Bynum, Steve Cothran, Bob Brantley, Michele Jenkins, Cathy Ballentine, Doug Gaddis, John Loy, and Jane Simmons.
Board members not in attendance: Rick Cunningham, Sharon Bieber, and Fred Bieber.
Staff present: Nancy Shultz
Meeting was held to discuss the hosting of state cups for the 2008/2009 seasonal year.
Steve Cothran made a
motion to accept Carolina FC and Carolina Elite Soccer Academy as joint hosts
for the fall and spring Publix President’s Medal Cup and the Publix State
Challenge Cup. He also made a motion for

Barry made a motion
to adjourn. Jane seconded the motion.
THE MOTION PASSED.
The meeting adjourned at 7:46 am.
