A: You can send all Interstate Permission Forms, International Clearance Requests, and all Registration related questions to Nancy Shultz
You can send all Applications to Host, Requests for Certificates of Insurance, and all Background Screening inquires to the State Office
Q: How old does my child have to be to get started in a SCYS Club?
A: The youngest age group SC Youth Soccer currently supports is 5 year olds.
Q: What are the different levels of play and what do they mean?
A: The four main levels of play in SCYS are: Challenge, Classic, Open, Academy, and Recreational
Challenge is the highest level of in-state competition and is meant for the top players in the state.
Classic is one step below Challenge. It is still highly competitive and still offers the opportunity for teams to compete for a National Championship
Open is one step below Classic. It is competitve and offers the opportunity for teams to compete in a cup at the end of the season if they so desire.
Academy is for players from 8U-12U and prepares players for the competitive environments of Challenge and Classic Levels and teams compete in state cups.
Recreational is just for fun! Teams can choose to compete in cups, but its up to any individual team to choose if they want to do so.
Q: What is ODP and how do I join it?
A: ODP stands for Olympic Development Program. Players from all over the state tryout each year in late November for the opportunity to play on this team. The ODP Program is meant to discover and develop the top talent in the state in order to help identify the top pool of players in the state, the region, and even the nation.
