SCYSA 2006 Presidents’ Workshop, State Council Meeting and Awards Luncheon

Founded in 1977, this year marks the twenty-ninth anniversary of the South Carolina Youth Soccer Association. For nearly three decades, SCYSA has continued to flourish and develop, providing quality youth soccer programs for all levels of play in South Carolina.

This year’s administrative workshop topics and skillful presenters provided current information regarding SCYSA rules and policies which enable organizations to effectively manage programs.

During the Awards Luncheon, SCYSA honored our Referee of the Year, Youth Referees of the Year, Coaches of the Year and the SCYSA / Publix Parent of the Year. Congratulations to each for their outstanding achievements and performance. Their commitment to SCYCA and efforts to enhance youth soccer has not gone unnoticed and we thank them.

We also recognize our past Pioneer of the Game recipients and Hall of Fame inductees. Please take the time to acknowledge these individuals for their contributions in making SCYSA the most prominent youth soccer organization in South Carolina.
