South Carolina Youth Soccer believes that coaching education is an integral aspect of successful and proper youth player development. Coaches that attend SC Youth Soccer Coaching Education courses are placed in an environment where the current coaching methodology from the United State Soccer Federation and by US Youth Soccer is taught. SC Youth Soccer is responsible for delivering the coaching curriculum of the United State Soccer Federation and US Youth Soccer.
All coaching education courses are designed to address the technical, tactical, physical and psycho-social components of soccer and age appropriate player development. The goal of the SC Youth Soccer Coaching Education staff is to not only demonstrate how to create a creative and stimulating learning environment for players but also to create a foundation of the basic tools and methodology that the coach will need to successfully advance through the coaching education pathway.
