Girls and Boys ODP Camp 2008 2008 Region III Camp has been going well. The 1992 Girls have Alex Ramsay at holdover camp (Coach Marty Beall, Francis Marion University). The 1992 Boys had 10 in the first pool game at camp – they claimed the South Carolina record! And, 8 players in the second pool game. The final result is seven 1992 Boys stayed for holdover camp (Coach Sam Okpodu, Newberry College). Three 1994 Boys also earned their way to holdover camp (Coach Bert Molinary USC).

The 1993 & 1994 Girls are in Montevallo, AL and the 1991 & 1995 Boys are in Tuscaloosa, AL. All teams have had players in the pool games. We do not have 1993 or 1994 Girls in the Region Pools.
The 1991 Boys had eight players in the first pool game. This is the team that qualified last January for the ODP Regional Championship games in Houston, TX. The Region is flying in a Japanese U17 National Team for the 1991pool game tonight.

The 2008 US Soccer Federation 1995 Boys camp will be held at Middlesex Academy in Concord, Massachusetts from August 3-9. Selection of players for their camp will be made by National Staff Coaches with assistance from the Regional ODP Staff. Approximately 100 players from across the country will be selected for the Federation’s August camp.
