Rachel McCollum Bolick has been named the Executive Director of South Carolina Youth Soccer Association. Rachel started working for SCYS in November 2012 as the Director of Member Services. She currently serves on US Youth Soccer Region III’s Soccer Across America Committee and on Region III’s President Medal Cup Rules Task Force Committee.
Rachel Bolick previously worked for the Town of Mount Pleasant as the Soccer Coordinator overseeing more than 2,500 youth and adult soccer players. During her time at the Town of Mount Pleasant, she sat on the Board of the Lower State Youth Soccer Association serving as the Youth Commissioner for that organization. Rachel Bolick also served as a board member for the South Carolina Adult Soccer Association.
Bolick earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management with a minor in History from Clemson University. She transferred into Clemson University after playing college soccer at Anderson University. During her high school years, Bolick played with an SCYS affiliated club called Downtown Soccer Association in Greenville, SC and Tri-County Soccer Club.
“I am honored to be named the Executive Director of South Carolina Youth Soccer. I look forward to working with the SCYS Board of Directors, Staff, and Membership, in promoting, developing and growing the game of soccer at all levels of play,” said Rachel Bolick.
