1.  Eddie Dukes, Sumter Soccer Club: Academy Program,
     a. smaller clubs cannot work easily with "no cut rule";
     b. must work with recreation program - local town.
2.  Recreation program, 
     a. Hans Pauling -  is SC Youth Soccer insurance the benefit
     b. Tripp Miller, SCUFC - challenge is to offer better program
     c. Richard Hazelwood, CASA - have better success with Rec Dept ($25-$50) than YMCA program ($83-non- 
         member, $57-member)
     d. Tripp Miller, SCUFC - we have absorbed 5-Y's and are picking up 2 more Y's; have 5-yr contract (service   
         contract) 
     e. Eric Gladman, SC-GA Bulls - explained Georgia rules & requirements
     f. Tripp Miller, SUFC- want insurance at lower costs U4-U10; 
                 - want lower cost for uniforms;
                 - want lesser recreation coaching requirements;
                 - focus on micro-side of recreation play;
                 - want on-line coaching course;
                 - provide soccer services to recreation sides;
                 - provide Festival Weekend (free play dates);

3.  Haven Bruce, CASA - Academy pool teams? Pool-A v Pool-B play;
4.  Eric Gladman, SC-GA Bulls - want universal player pass;
5.  Eric Gladman, SC-GA Bulls - discussed 50% residency in SC rule status for Challenge Teams and Classic Teams;
6.  Tripp Miller, SCUFC - 4-coaches on state roster; want the team mgr to be added to roster, so they may step in, 
      if coaches are not available; 
     a. Use "Club Coach Pass"? Cost of $40, why?? 
     b. What are caveats? Exceptions to apply?

C. Issues Encountered (To Date):
1.      Lawsuit (inherited) - Coastal District; insurance provider is handling for us.
2.      State Office break-in, theft of property, and damages - occurred on Christmas-Eve or Christmas night; insurance provider is handling repairs and replacement of property; ADT security system is now installed.
 
D. Initiatives - ongoing:
1.      Executive Director: job description finalized; schedule is: B.O.D. approval 1/23/11; Advertise position after 1/26/11; Receive applications/resumes, 1/28 - 2/28/11; 2-step Interview process, 2/28 - 3/15/11; Selections meet B.OD., 3/20/11; Hire selected candidate by 4/1/11.
2.      GOTSoccer Review, ongoing: meeting 2/24/11, later meetings
3.      ODP Program "overhaul" (ongoing)
4.      Player Development Program-PDP (U8-U10), (ongoing)
5.      Bylaws & Constitution "overhaul", (ongoing by Rules & Compliance, membership will gain approval of all future B.O.D. meeting minutes and Bylaw amendments)
6.      All B.O.D. meetings are "open", with roll call votes
7.      New payroll company for paid staff-ABS Financial, Irmo
8.      New CPA firm, Tom Pietras, C.P.A., who will assist and advise on contracts, sponsorships, and financial matters; also, handle audits, check reconciliation’s, and tax filings.
