At a press conference held Friday, June 24 at Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex, US Youth Soccer announced South Carolina Youth Soccer, Discoveries Soccer Club, the City of Rock Hill and the Rock Hill / York County Convention and Visitors Bureau, were awarded the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championship tournament.
This prestigious tournament will be held at Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex in Rock Hill, SC July 24-29, 2012. Discoveries Soccer Club is proud to be a partner in bringing the ultimate US Youth Soccer event to the City of Rock Hill and the state of South Carolina.
Over 10,000 teams compete throughout the year at the state and regional level for the chance to be one of the finalists who will represent their club and state. Players from South Carolina will have the opportunity to possibly compete and see firsthand, soccer at its best.
