SC Youth Soccer coaching education staff received five hours of Revised US Youth Soccer coaching education instructional materials from Director of Coaching, Greg Vallee.
The workshop instruction includes the methodology of instruction, assessment, long term athletic development 4 components of LTAD, chronological age vs. training age, basic stages of specific training focus, long term athlete targets for technique and tactics, long term athlete development factors influencing development, seasonal planning for U9-U12 content and plans, weekly planning cycle managing a microcycle, and teaching essentials learning modes, teaching method and tool box.
The group took time out for a quick lunch and immediately returned to business to finish the workshop with method of coaching, principals of play, team management, pre-course assignments & required forms, summary of practical coaching, E license FAQs and the D license grading and format.
Armed with the new US Youth Soccer instructional material received from the SC Youth Soccer Director of Coaching, Greg Vallee, the coaching staffs are eager to put what they received and learned to work with South Carolina Youth Soccer Coaches.
