South Carolina Youth Soccer Association, an affiliate of US Youth Soccer has announced the hiring of Director of Coaching, Gregory Vallee.
Greg is a graduate of Spring Valley High School. He grew up playing for NECSA and Irmo Soccer Association. During this time he was a South Carolina Youth Soccer and Region III ODP player. Greg graduated from Saint Leo University with a degree in Sports Management. While at Saint Leo’s he was a three year starter for the men’s soccer team. Greg played for the USL with the Cocoa Expos and the Columbia Heat.
Greg was an Assistant Coach for five years at Saint Leo University. He has also been the Academy Director for South Carolina United FC for the past six years.
Greg holds a USSF A License, USSF National Youth License, a NSCAA Master Coach, NSCAA Premier Diploma, and a NSCAA National Goalkeeper Diploma.
Greg will begin his position with South Carolina Youth Soccer on June 1st.
