2012 Region III Southern Regionals Conclude in Greenville

South Carolina saw great success in this year’s Southern Regionals. In the tournament hosted in our own backyard by CESA we were able to have not one but THREE teams advance to Nationals. Nationals will also be hosted in South Carolina, more specifically in Rock Hill. Hopefully giving our teams the ability to compete close to home will allow us to see another National Champion hailing from the Palmetto State.
The three teams that were able to advance to the National Championships were not the only example of South Carolina Youth Soccer’s success at the Southern Regionals. Out of 16 teams from the state of South Carolina who played in the Southern Regionals nearly half (7) advanced past the group stages and into the elimination rounds of the tournament.
