Sandy Burris- Girls ODP Director

Sandy returns to ODP after a short absence in her previous tenure the program grew to its largest participant and received recognition throughout the Region and National levels.
The program received numerous player invitations to regional and National events along with international trips.
In 2018 SCYS ODP had their first player to make a roster and receive a cap for the USWNT (Savannah McCaskill)

Ryan Lail- Athletic Trainer

Ryan Lail is in his third year as the head athletic trainer for the Columbia International University Rams. Lail is in his 11th year as a certified athletic trainer. He oversees all of the sports programs.
Originally from Troutman, NC, Lail received his bachelor's degree in athletic training with a minor in sports studies from East Carolina University in 2010. He also earned his master's degree in sport management from Florida State University in 2012.
Lail has benefited from serving in multiple positions in different parts of the country early in his career. He has spent time with The University of Wisconsin – Madison women's soccer program, the Western New York Flash (now NC Courage) women's professional soccer team, which plays in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), and the Gardner-Webb University Football program.
Lail resides in Columbia, SC and is married to the former Kara Farnsworth, who leads the CIU Lady Rams soccer program.
